I have a 6 month old! Holy cow!
You babble lots- mainly saying "dadadadada" and "babababa."
You can sit up all on your own and love to go on walks. Seriously, we take 2-3 walks daily. We took you to the beach for the first time this month and you LOVED it. You loved the sand and watching all the other little kids. You like to swing. We also took you to Nana and Papa's pool and you love to swim and didn't cry once. *My little goldfish!* No crawling yet- but you like to try and practice in your crib and only your crib. we now can take you to the grocery store and you sit up in the cart like a big boy. You are growing into 18 month clothing very nicely and all the nice 12 month summer shorts mom bought for you already have to be reitred. You tried watermelon this month and enjoyed sucking it to death. Your favorite TV show- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So many changed this month- we are so excited to continue to watch you grow.

Easter Sunday
I really wish we would have taken a family photo that day, we forgot and tried to take a family "selfie" later and it was awful....this was the best one we could do.
So separate photos with the little guy it was.
It was pretty much the "first" official day Dan had off with us as a family since we had Jacob. CRAZINESS right!? We knew having him that our schedules would change. I would go part-time at work and he would have to take his days off during the week the days that I worked so we didn't have to do daycare. This is only a temporary arrangement. Our hope is that Dan can land a job making enough so that I can stay home full time and have more babies in the near future. So far that hasn't happened, so we just keep trying, praying, and hoping it happens soon.
We went to church (1st time as a family!), listened to my dad speak in church that day, and spent the afternoon with D's family at our house. The weather was beautiful, sunny, and in the high 60's so later that evening we took a walk around the neighborhood.
HERE's TO SPRINGTIME IN MICHIGAN!!
Finally! :)
I'm 5 Months Old!
Easter Sunday!
You have become quite the grabber and grip everything within your reach. You love to bounce in your jumper at our house and at nana and papa's. Your favorite toy is still Sophie the Giraffe and now your teddy bear Manni. Your down to 2-3 naps a day and have started eating solids. You love your veggies but not a fan of the fruits yet. You are in 12 month clothes!!
Love me some Sweet Potatoes!
You and Your Ted- Manni
Haha...here's a video of you desperately wanting your teddy.
Happy in your Jumper at home:
I'm 4 Months Old!!
You have found your voice! Screaming and screaming just for fun. You LOVE to have your diaper changed and be on your changing pad. You weigh in at a whopping 19.5 pounds and 27 inches! You are in 9 month clothes.Your favorite toy is Sophie the Giraffe. We started rice cereal this month and you are a fan! You also tried apple juice but Mom decided to wait until later to give you anymore because it made you too hyper.
Enjoying some apple juice- holding the bottle all by yourself!

Small example of you screaming at the end (you were a little camera shy):

Such a Ham!!
Your personality is starting to shine through. You think things are funny and smile often. You are finally big enough to sit in your bumbo chair. Still in 6 month clothes- thank goodness! But chunk'n up like crazy. We have transitioned you to your crib at night and so far is working well (still not sleeping through the night). You made your grand entrance at church this month!
Laughing at Dad
I'm 2 Months Old!
You finally are letting Mom and Dad get some sleep!! Hallelujah! But still sleeping with us in bed... You had your first smiles this month and are growing like crazy. Already in 6 month clothes! We specifically had to run out and purchase more sleepers because we only had (1) in that size. Your starting to like your bathes more and no longer cry. You have also become quite the spitter upper going through several outfits a day. Mom returned to work this month (only 2.5 days a week) but she worries and misses you all the time.
You saying "hi" to dad while enjoying a diaper change when he was at work (your toot halfway through is excused haha):
Bath time is SO much FUN!

I'm 1 Month Old!
Wow! What a month your first month was...
You had your days and nights figured out pretty quickly, but wouldn't sleep unless Mom or Dad was holding you. That was a big bummer. The first week your Mom slept on the couch in the living room with you trying not to disturb Dad. After that she was over it and slept in bed with you and made Dad deal with it. We tried and tried to get you to sleep in your bassinet but you were not having it.You hated to be swaddled but LOVED your pacifier. You screamed bloody murder for most bathes during this time. That first month was a complete and utter blur. You left us feeling like zombies...But we absolutely loved you to pieces!
