The last week has been a complete and utter BLUR!
As you read in my previous post I started training this past Wednesday....which started off awful...
M,T,W of this week I also had training and on top of that summer semester began Monday.

My past (3) days have looked a little like this:

5 am wake up get ready for work
7am-330 work/orientation
5-9pm pathogenic micro
945 home
10-1030 bed

SO EXHAUSTING!!!

BUT I am happy to announce...

I "graduated" training :-)
and
I now only work on the weekends so I can focus completely on school for the next 6 weeks.

I met sooooo many awesome people during training and it ended on a great note.
I am very sad that I am not able to see them on a daily basis anymore at work since we all work different floors/shifts.

My last day was the most boring----computer training ALL day!

I am SO happy to be done.

Randomness
Our tree is losing all its flowers :-(
It was beautiful while it lasted.

I got my ring cleaned the other day. It's so sparkly now, amazing what a little cleaning will do. It still amazes me every time I look at it that I am married to my best friend and that its been almost 2 years. God does such amazing things! For all you debating marriage out there- I HIGHLY suggest it. It's so much fun-
I love you D!

UPDATE...

Training is kicking my butt.
Anything that could go wrong has so far...

1st day
I was mailed a orientation packet before the first day which informed me to be there @ 12.
Orientation actually started at 7:00 a.m.! 1/2 the class showed up late and now we have to make the hours we missed

2nd day.
Everyone already knew each other but ME because they went through CPR training and Beaumont orientation together the day before.
Everyone's unit manager was super nice and came down to meet them but mine, and everyone already had their work schedules for after training but me.

3rd day
Finally meet my unit manager after searching out her office. I find out during training on the floor they work you full-time hours on days so I am stuck working every weekend F-Sat-Sun 7am-7pm until July because of my summer class schedule.

I am really, really, really, not looking forward to this schedule. I am very nervous/worried/anxious to start.

On the bright side:

* more money!! $$$ for full-time hours
* maybe working 3 consecutive days in a row will be better- to get it out of the way AND to learn more quickly and easier

MOST IMPORTANTLY

*It's only TEMPORARY

*sigh*

YAY! Grades are in for winter semester. I got all A's! To most of you you'r probably like "ya big deal," but to me this is awesome. I have NEVER ever gotten all A's. No matter what I always end up with one or two B+'s. All of that early morning studying before work, missing the gym, and favorite tv shows paid off.

Just proves if you really want something you can do it!

Now to do the same with summer semester...*sigh*

Got my scrubs!

Tomorrow training starts
I am pretty nervous/excited
I really think its stupid when people take pictures of themselves,
BUT
I had to...

I also went to "Hobby Lobby" with my girlfriend Danielle yesterday and got this wall decal- I am seriously obsessed with this stuff. I have been looking for something to put over our bed for a while, glad I finally found something. It was over 50% off! Can't beat that, usually these are $25.00 a piece. I think the total came to $10 bucks.

I just had to add this picture. I took this a while ago but I am just so happy these two are getting along. Dan and I were both really worried at first- especially because Mr. Behr wouldn't let Minnie come out of the kitchen for one FULL week after we got her. But now they are inseparable :-)

Mr. Behr
Just being a good boy
NEVER thought I would love these kitties as much as I do!

I decided to make a blog post completely devoted to my TOP 5 Pet Peeves. You can thank my friend Danielle for this one. Her blog absolutely amuses me. You can follow her at http://shouldbeinbed.wordpress.com/

1.) People who DO NOT know how to drive.
I think this is on everyone's list. I really don't like it when people ride my bumper, people who don't drive the speed limit, people who don't know how to use round abouts. It just instantly makes me feel really aggravated.

2.) Guys with long fingernails.
Gross, just gross.

3.) Dirty houses
Everyone is messy lets be honest. I don't hang up my clothes after trying on a billion different outfits before going out. Yes I leave the pillows and blankets on my couch in a pile when I get done using them. I don't really ever make our bed in the morning (though I try). BUT I really don't like it when things are d.i.r.t.y. For example, floors haven't been washed in months, toilet or bathroom has not been cleaned in weeks, dirty dishes overflowing the sink, carpet not vacuumed. It makes me feel gross, Why don't people clean their places.....ever? (The show Hoarder's is a prime example, to the extreme!)

4.) Rude Individuals
Or any mean person out there. Is your life really that awful that you need to spread your unhappiness. Don't be-little people, don't be mean or hurtful. Life is TOO SHORT! I just never understood people who behave in such a manner. BE HAPPY!

5.) People who drive with systems in their cars
Yes I am aware that my husband has a system and whenever I'm not around he "bumps" to the music. I hate it, cannot stand it. I don't like when people pull up near me and I can hear the vibrations and booms coming from their car. It gives me a headache and drowns out my own music.

Welcome Spring/Summer 2011
It's about time you got here!

I LOVE love LOVE that we have this beautiful tree right outside our living room. I love sitting on the balcony now eating breakfast and hearing the birds. Although I have a love/hate relationship with Michigan. I LOVE IT HERE, I can't imagine myself ever living anywhere else but here. As of lately I really want to move to Traverse City when I am done with Nursing School. We will see if that happens, for now it's just a dream.....sigh

I FINALLY finished my Winter semester and it feels so good to be one more semester down!! Summer semester starts in about a week. So the beginning of the summer I can kiss goodbye. Between my summer class being Pathogenic Microbiology, being held M-Th from 5-9, and working midnights at Beaumont on the weekends I don't think May-June will be too fun filled for me.

So come July my summer starts!! I am hoping Dan and I can make it Up North for the 4th of July. We haven't been up there in a couple years. They have an amazing firework show and there's always something going on that week. So much fun!

Last time we were there- JULY 2008

As for Now, I have one more shift in my current department @ Beaumont this Friday and then I begin my NA orientation next Wednesday! Dan is crossing his fingers for a promotion here in the next month which could land him in Troy, Sterling Heights, or Auburn Hills (woohoo) we will keep everyone posted.

Let's recap this past week....

NO SCHOOL (hooray!), work, work, and more work, and cleaning. I picked up 3 shifts at work this past week, which was great- BUT kinda took up my whole "Easter Break." I also had to work on Easter and that really bummed me out. I wasn't able to go to church but I was able to spend the afternoon with family and I went to a special  Easter service on Friday at our church.

THANKFUL...and thank you!
I feel very thankful this Easter for my husband, family, and friends that are in my life. I am thankful that my savior died for me so that I could live with him again. I am thankful for everything God has put me through and blessed my life with because it has made me a stronger person and I know there is a purpose and a plan for everything. I am in awe of my husband Daniel, he is truly my best friend,  he is strong where I am weak and is so patient with me and my "attitude." :-) I really can be a sass a lot! I just feel very thankful this year!
